Packaging your CDs is often an afterthought, but it should be at the forefront of your mind when undertaking any CD project. A disc’s packaging is the first thing that is experienced by the user and will help convey the message even before the disc itself is taken out.
10th Planet stock a range of packaging to suit a variety of CD products: audio CDs, software, training and educational CDs, all requiring a particular CD case depending on a variety of requirements.
We can offer virtually any form of packaging, whatever the run size and regardless of whether it is for a CD duplication or CD replication project. Equally, all our CD packaging is perfectly suitable for use with DVD duplication and DVD replication.
Standard CD Jewel cases, traditionally for albums are still popular, and jewel cases come in a number of shapes, colours and sizes. Slim line CD cases, maxi single cases, cases to hold two or more discs are all available. In addition to packaging for standard sized 12CM CDs, we offer cases for Mini CDs (8cm) and Business Card CD.
It doesn’t stop there however and there are dozens of other ‘off the shelf’ CD packaging options ideal for a more specific use. Often paper parts are not required and Clam shell cases (or C-shells as they are also known) are the perfect economical solution for mailing CDs or handing them out after an event. Available in a variety of translucent or opaque colours, they can also be printed for that more exclusive project.
If you are looking for something a little different and don’t want to break the bank, then we offer many other options. Trigger cases or Vario packs, diamond boxes, super jewel cases, CD safe boxes, trim packs and the ever popular range of plastic wallets to name a few.

Jewel Case
Standard 10mm CD Jewel case with a black tray. Takes a booklet in the front and an inlay behind the tray.The standard packaging for CD albums which were popular last decade. Available in clear and black tray and double disc options.
CD Jewel Case Clear Tray
10mm CD Jewel Case with a clear tray. This allows the inlay to be printed on both sides (4/4 or 4/1) so that images and text can be seen through the tray.
Double CD Jewel Case
Standard 10mm CD Jewel case with a black tray to take 2 discs. A booklet will fit in the front and an inlay in the back, though the inlay is not held in place as in a standard single case.

Clam Shells
One of the most popular choices for CD and DVD packaging, the Clam Shell (or C- Shell) is cost effective, light, and attractive. It does not get broken when mailed and the print is visible through the translucent plastic. Available in a range of colours and is also printable if required.
Slim CD Jewel Case
5.2 mm CD jewel case that takes a standard sized booklet in the front. Makes a good alternative to the 10mm CD Jewel case if no inlay is required. Also available in a range of tray colours.

PVC wallet
CD PVC Wallet is the cheapest way of packaging a disc and is made of 150 micron polypropylene (the term PVC wallet has stuck though is technically incorrect). Our PVC wallets are made from high quality see-through plastic, not too thin and flimsy, and have a flap to fold over and keep the disc in place. Will also take a 2pp or 4pp paper part. Also available in 8cm for mini CD and DVD.
Double CD PVC wallet
PVC wallet designed to hold 2 discs.
Self Adhesive CD PVC wallet
A PVC wallet with two self adhesive strips on the back to be used to fix inside books, folders or on magazines etc.
Ring Binder CD PVC wallet
A PVC wallet with holes to be used to fix inside ring binders and folders.
CD Safe case
Very similar to a DVD case but square in aspect, the CD safe box takes a sleeve around the outside and has space for a booklet inside.
8cm Mini CD Jewel Case
A smaller jewel case for the mini 8cm CD. Has space for a booklet.
CD Trigger Pack
A novel case with a trigger eject mechanism for the disc. Also known as an Ejector case. The ejector mechanism comes in a variety of colours.
